VOMS-400 (Spine/Brain) applies Sometech’s 4K RealMicro platform to neurosurgical and spinal procedures, combining Ultra-HD 3D imaging, motorised XYZ control and a programmable foot pedal. The configuration was presented at the Global Spine Congress 2022. A head-up posture on the 4K 3D monitor is maintained throughout surgery, designed to reduce the neck and back discomfort, eye strain and headache associated with eyepiece microscopy. The whole operating-room team can observe the same real-time 3D image for intra-operative cooperation and post-operative teaching. Patented lens technology minimises chromatic aberration, while image processing maintains fine focus over a wide field. A motorised turret, C-curve arm, image-shake reduction and one-touch caster lock support stable positioning in the operating theatre.
